Our country lanes are an integral part of our rural environment but the volume and speed of traffic , and the presence of heavy lorries can make them uninviting and intimidating. The Parish Council wish to improve the lanes to provide people with a chance for people to walk, cycle and horse ride in a safer environment , to widen transport choice and protect the character and tranquillity of our country lanes. The Council are campaigning to improve the situation with the assistance of some local residents.
